SALARY UP TO $110,000 DEPENDING UPON EXPERIENCE IN DESIGNING SECURITY SYSTEMS
Responsibilities:
- Provide higher-level engineering and design support for integrated security systems (access, video, intrusion)
- Understand bid processes in security
- Experience with estimating cabling for security projects
- Experience with Enterprise level security systems
- Assist sales staff with estimates and product selection to meet customer’s needs
- Provide technical support to technicians and customers
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to support project delivery
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner
- Open willingness to continual learning
- Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices
- Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by management
Required:
- 5+ years in designing security systems, access, video, and intrusion.
- Access and Video product line certifications a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass drug and background screenings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to perform some repetitive motions while using a computer
- Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises
