Koorsen Fire Museum

A Unique Look at the History of Fire Protection.

Today’s fire protection is very different from that of decades past, and we’d be happy to show you just how different.

Step into the Koorsen Fire Museum and step back into a time when fires were fought with buckets and “salt water grenades.” Take in leather “smoke helmets,” an “Antifyre Pistol,” and an extensive collection of fire extinguishers dating back to 1789.

Located inside of Koorsen Fire & Security’s Training Center, the Koorsen Fire Museum is the personal collection of former owner Randy Koorsen. Decades worth of fire equipment, advertising, and other pieces of fire protection history are featured within.

The collection is open and free to the public to learn how fire protection has evolved through the generations.

Check out the ways fire protection has evolved—come to Koorsen headquarters to visit our Fire Museum. Guided tours are available on request. Click here to schedule your visit.
